Getting Started
How do I grant calendar access?
When you first launch Selah, you'll be prompted to grant calendar access. If you missed this:
- Open System Settings
- Go to Privacy & Security → Calendars
- Enable access for Selah
- Restart Selah
How do I set meeting intentions?
Click on any meeting in the dropdown menu to open the details view. You'll see a text field where you can write your intention for that meeting. For recurring meetings, your intention is saved automatically.
Troubleshooting
Selah isn't showing my meetings
Check these common issues:
- Ensure calendar access is granted in System Settings
- Verify your calendars are selected in Selah Settings
- Check that your Calendar app is syncing properly
Notifications aren't appearing
To fix notification issues:
- Check System Settings → Notifications → Selah
- Ensure notifications are allowed
- Verify Do Not Disturb is not active (or configure DND settings in Selah)
- Check your notification timing in Selah Settings
Features
Can I customize the breathing pattern?
Currently, Selah uses the scientifically-backed 4-7-8 breathing pattern. We may add customization options in future updates.
Does Selah work with all meeting platforms?
Selah detects meeting links for:
- Zoom
- Microsoft Teams
- Google Meet
- Webex
- Any URL in the location or notes field
Privacy & Data
Is my calendar data private?
Yes! All calendar data stays on your device. Selah doesn't send any information to external servers. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Simply uninstall Selah to remove all app data. You can also revoke calendar access in System Settings at any time.
